As part of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the Fraunhofer IAPT was able to set another milestone for the future of additive manufacturing in German industry in addition to the initiative to found the association. Parallel to the founding of IAMHH e.V., Hamburg will receive a Fraunhofer-High-Performance Center IAMHH® of the same name from January 2025.
The Fraunhofer-High-Performance Center IAMHH® sees itself as a driving force for the transfer of innovations in additive manufacturing into industrial value chains. Together with its core partners - the Hamburg University of Technology, the registered association IAMHH and the Fraunhofer IAPT - it will provide the Hamburg metropolitan region with a multi-organizational infrastructure for this from January 2025.
